GUIDED HIKES

Our guided hiking program will be starting in March 2008. We will be doing one hike per month and it is limited to 8 participants. Please email or call or offices at 480-575-5835 to sign up.

The hikes meet at the parking lot on Mark Way.

TRAIL INFORMATION

Elevation: 3,398 feet
Elevation Gain: 1000 feet (approx.)
Distance: 2.2 miles, round trip
Rating: Difficult; primitive trail, use at your own risk


Guided hikes are led by trained volunteer docents who will point out Black Mountain’s rock formations and vegetation.
